The Evangelical Alliance is the largest and oldest body representing the UK’s evangelical Christians. For 170 years, we have been bringing Christians together and helping them listen to, and be heard by, the government, media and society. Unity is what drives us – but not just for unity’s sake. By bringing Christians together, we are following the John 17 mandate to be one in order to show the immense love of God, who sent His Son for us. We connect people for a shared mission, whether it’s nurturing a Church culture that is increasingly confident in the gospel, getting involved in community action or lobbying the government for a better society. We inform and inspire Christians with resources, analysis and articles about our society, what the Church is doing and how they can get involved. And we represent evangelicals to the media, presenting God’s truth with grace and telling good news stories about the difference Christians are making.
Who you will be helping
threads is a unique online and offline community that aims to rekindle a more vibrant 20s and 30s sector in the Church by providing a space for Christians to explore and wrestle with their faith as it relates to the whole of their lives. Run by the Evangelical Alliance, in collaboration with a growing community of more than 300 writers and Christian organisations, threads is building a platform of spiritually and socially engaged Christians in their 20s and 30s.
Spread the word
Our online presence is spearheaded by a website, threadsUK.com, featuring articles, videos and images that are added to daily. They challenge, analyse, explore and celebrate the relationship between faith and everyday life. Our offline presence is building face-to-face community through monthly network gatherings across the UK and threads@ events, featuring short, inspirational talks (in the style of TED.com).
Sign up to Music4Mission’s monthly music collection and £7.50 will go directly to Threads.
Help us speak to a new generation of Christians and share the immense love of God, who sent His Son for us.
